Vincit Omnia Veritas This page is dedicated to those who left their homes and their country, moving to a faraway land to rebuild their lives after the War Between the States. Our ancestors will always have our undying reverence and our admiration for their courage, their braveness, and their loyalty to the Confederacy. We pledge to keep their memory, and to pass this reverence to our future generations, and whilst recognizing and abiding to the Brazilian and American Constitutions, we will not accept any distortion of the History of The Confederate States of America by any individual, group, or institution whatsoever. |
This is about the Confederadoes. Current day descendants of Confederate Veterans who relocated to Brasil with their families to escape the persecutions of Reconstruction during northern occupation of our beloved Southland. Thousands of miles away, their Southern descendants celebrate the same Heritage as we do today. In fact once a year they gather for the Festa Confederada to celebrate Southern Heritage.
"Have a Dixie Day" is indeed an international celebration of a Proud Heritage. And I urge you to visit the Os Confederado Camps web-page and learn more about Our Confederate brothers and sisters in Brasil.
The following Confederado eCards are dedicated to not only the Confederado's Confederate ancestors but to recognize and support their descendants' Pride in Our Southern Heritage. Our Common Heritage.
